BTEC students from Fleetwood Town Community Sports College have organised a 12-hour football match to raise vital funds for Sport Relief.
The uninterrupted 12-hour football match will be taking place on Friday 13th March between 8am and 8pm at Poolfoot Farm, and will consist of 11-a-side, 9-a-side and 5-a-side matches, all taking place simultaneously.
The event has been solely organised by the students, who have arranged the logistics, teams, performed health and safety checks, and set up a GoFundMe page.
There will be activities throughout the day, including a penalty shootout and crossbar challenge for all the spectators and supporters to take part in, so come along, support the students and have some fun.
Sport Relief brings that nation together to get active and raise huge amounts of money for those who need it most. With your help we can fight inequality wherever we find it, to create a better, fairer world – free from poverty. Since 2018, Sport Relief have supported an incredible 13m people across the UK and around the world.
So far students have raised over £300 of their £1000 goal, and you can help support them by donating to their GoFundMe page here or by cheering them on at Poolfoot Farm on Friday 13th March and donating on the day.
