Sports Tutor

£21,500-£23,000 (Pro Rata if part time is preferred)

Full/Part Time – 37 hours

To report to the Sports College Manager, the BTEC Tutor will be responsible for the delivery, planning and assessment of the BTEC programme delivered by Fleetwood Town FC Community Sports College in line with our Education provider League Football Education (LFE). In addition, the tutor will be responsible for the facilitation of delivery of the Foundation Degree in Coaching and Sports Development, delivered to students by Fleetwood Town Sports College, through the University of South Wales.

School Sport Manager (Premier League Primary Stars Lead)

£24,000 – £26,500pa – commensurate with experience

Initial 12 month Fixed Term Contract – continuance pending the extension of funding

Fleetwood Town Community Trust is an independent and registered charity working in partnership with Fleetwood Town Football Club. Our mission is to enrich the lives of children and young people through sport, physical activity, health, and educational programmes. As the Trust continues to develop we wish to appoint a dynamic and enthusiastic individual to manage and oversee all aspects of School Sport and lead the Premier League Primary Stars programme.

As part of this role, you will be expected to both lead and work alongside the Trust’s staff to ensure compliance with internal and external targets.

A professional qualification in Sports Coaching, Sports Development, and/or Exercise Science with having knowledge of the National Curriculum for PE (preferably Primary school) is essential to the post.  You will need to hold at least one Level 2 sports coaching NGB qualification along with an AfPE level 3. With a good general level of education, you should be computer literate with excellent administration and communication skills.

We are currently recruiting Casual PE and School Sport Coaches who are available on a casual basis to deliver our curriculum and extra-curricular school sports programmes, Football Development programme and Holiday Sports Camps.

It is essential you hold at least one level 2 NGB Sports Coaching Qualification. You also must have experience of delivering Sports and PE lessons/sessions in Primary school settings.
