Fleetwood Town Community Trust is proud to announce that through its commitment to the Armed Forces Covenant (AFC), it has been awarded a silver certificate with the Employers Recognition Scheme.
Since gaining the bronze award FTFCCT has worked tirelessly to enhance its commitment to the armed forces, reservist, and veterans within the community, building a strong relationship that recognises the many skills that reservist and veterans have to transfer to the workplace.
This ensures that the armed services, reservist, and veterans do not suffer disadvantages as a result of their service.
The Veterans project coordinator Tony Codling who is a veteran himself said “We are proud to be able to support our armed services both past and present as we employ a number of veterans within the Trust. The Trust places high value on the skills and work ethic they bring to the community, support is also provided to gain more qualifications through the Continuous professional Development programme (CPD).
Through our Drop-in centre, we are working with other organisations throughout the Fylde coast, where we can signpost veterans and their families to any support groups they may need.
