Fireworks light up Highbury Stadium

Highbury Stadium was lit up on Sunday evening as Fleetwood Town’s annual Fireworks Night went off with a bang!

The event saw live entertainment from Lionel Vinyl – the 70s disco sensation – with members of the crowd invited to join him on the main stage for a dance lesson! It wasn’t just those on the stage who were up on their feet, it was also those in the stand who took it upon themselves to join in with the fun.

Before the firework display started, there was a mascot race with our very own Captain Cod, as well as live music from local musician, Paul Roskell – who got the atmosphere cranked up ahead of the big finale.

With hot drinks and snacks in hands on the chilly night, everyone took to their seats raring to see the huge firework display. The countdown from ten was echoed around the ground before a bright and brilliant display took place at the home of the Cod Army.

Overall, it was a brilliant night for everyone there. The club would like to thank all of the partners who helped with the night, and to Phenomenal Fireworks for their amazing firework display. Also a thank you to all those who came to Highbury and made the event the huge success it was.
