Armed Forces Veterans take to the track

On Tuesday 11th May 2021 a Group of Armed Forces Veterans linked with Fleetwood Town FC Community Trust and our friends over at Blackpool FC were invited by Mission Motorsport for a day of fun, laughter and of course SPEED!
15 Veterans arrived at the Three Sisters Circuit near Wigan and were treated to being driven round the circuit in various race cars at very high speeds. It was a fantastic day put on by this amazing organisation. To see more of what they do please visit https://www.missionmotorsport.org/
The day not only provided an adrenaline rush but was particularly poignant during Mental Health Awareness Week that the Veterans got to talk with other Veterans and enjoy some form of social activity again. The smiles on faces showed what a great success it was. Thank you to all those who took part and to everyone that made it happen.
