Change4Life is a healthy lifestyle programme that is delivered to children in schools as an extra-curricular club. Children take part in fun based games to try new types of activities and to enjoy exercising in a fun and friendly environment after school.

Children receive wristbands and logbooks that they can keep as part of signing up for the clubs. Each week children spend some time discussing how to be healthy and tracking their exercise using their new wristbands and logbooks. This is a part of the Wyre & Fylde SSP school offer.

Snack Smart

Half the sugar children are having comes from snacks and sugary drinks.

Too much sugar can lead to harmful fat building up inside and serious health problems, including painful tooth decay.

Fruit and vegetables are always the best choices, but if you’re shopping for packaged snacks for your children, use this helpful tip: look for 100 calorie snacks, two a day max!
