The Community Trust hosted the inaugural Charity Dinner at Highbury Stadium on Saturday 26th October, bringing together valued partners, corporate businesses, voluntary groups and participants for a highly emotive and impactful evening.

Trust CEO, John Hartley added, “We celebrated what was an incredibly wholesome evening, raising the profile of the Trust and raising invaluable funds to help continue and grow our initiatives across the Fylde Coast.

The guest speakers throughout the evening showcased their personal stories, identifying how they have directly benefitted from our services, whether that be directly or indirectly.

I would also like to add a big thank you to our headline sponsor for the evening, Ruby Energy.”

Mayor of Wyre, Cllr. Jane Preston explained, “It was a fantastic evening and we were privileged to hear the heartfelt and inspirational accounts of those that the Trust have supported.

It is important that events like this are endorsed by al so that the Trust can continue to reach out into the community.

I’d like to thank all those that organised the event and to everyone who attended, making it a night to remember. I am certainly looking forward to the next one.”
