Stockley surprises super-fan!

Nick, a local student has taken part in the Trust’s work placement programme since September 2023, joining the office and grounds staff at Highbury Stadium every week preparing him for the world of work after his formal education.
Within his time on the work placement programme he has developed new skills in the ticket office, club shop and ground maintenance with an aspiration to work for the club full time when he’s older.
To congratulate him on this achievements, Fleetwood Town FC player Jayden Stockley surprised super-fan Nick with a match worn shirt. In addition to gaining the shirt he also got to experience the full mascot package meeting the full match day squad and management seeing them warm up prior to kick off.
Nick added, “I would like to thank Jayden again it was a great surprise.
When I received the match shirt, I felt extremely happy and gave him a big hug, this now my new favourite top.
My work experience at the club shop has been amazing as I just love being around the club. I would like to thank Dave he has been a great mentor helping me improve math skills and customer service. One day I would like to work at the club when I leave school.”
