Kenny Waste Management Becomes a Friend of Fleetwood Town Community Trust in Major Social Value Partnership

Kenny Waste Management, a long-established organisation within the waste and environmental services sector, has reinforced its commitment to Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) by becoming a “Friend of the Trust” with Fleetwood Town Community Trust.

The partnership marks a significant milestone in Kenny Waste Management’s ongoing Responsible Business strategy, which is built on four equal pillars: workplace, supply chain, local communities, and the environment. These pillars underpin the organisation’s belief that commercial success must go hand-in-hand with meaningful social and environmental impact.

For decades, the company has embedded social value into its operations, long before it became a formalised framework. Its approach has consistently focused on improving lives in the communities it serves through employability initiatives, community engagement, and environmental responsibility.

Today, this commitment is further strengthened as the organisation actively integrates social value into project delivery and partnerships. Key focus areas include training and employment pathways, volunteering and community engagement, and environmental sustainability, including recycling and emissions reduction initiatives.

Strengthening Community Impact Through FTCT Partnership:

By becoming a Friend of the Trust with Fleetwood Town Community Trust, Kenny Waste Management will support a range of initiatives designed to deliver tangible benefits across the local community.

The partnership will provide opportunities for employees to take part in staff wellbeing and volunteering days, supporting Trust-led programmes that engage residents at the heart of the community. It will also enable closer collaboration on fundraising initiatives, community projects, and matchday experiences.

The Friends of the Trust scheme is available from £1,000, with flexible payment options. For every £1,000 contributed, the Trust generates an estimated £7,000 in social value, helping to expand its reach and impact across physical and mental wellbeing programmes in the community.
