Fleetwood Town Community Trust Announces Ronan Coughlan As Its First Community Hub Ambassador

Fleetwood Town Community Trust is proud to announce Ronan Coughlan as its first Community Hub Ambassador, recognising his outstanding commitment to supporting local people and making a difference beyond the football pitch.

Ronan’s commitment to the Fleetwood community has shone through throughout the 2025/26 season, making him the perfect role model to become the Trust’s first Community Hub Ambassador.

The Fleetwood Town striker has already played a leading role in supporting local food initiatives, most notably through the Trust’s Feeding Fleetwood campaign, which saw the football club and wider community come together to support West View Community Association and The Pantry Food Bank.

Ronan personally helped champion the campaign, taking it upon himself to help raise £650 to provide food packs via the Hub, encouraging supporters to donate essential food items and make financial contributions, demonstrating the incredible impact that can be achieved when football and community come together.

His involvement has continued to demonstrate that his commitment to Fleetwood extends well beyond matchdays.

Ronan’s new role as Community Food Hub Ambassador officially commenced at the Fleetwood Town fixture against MK Dons at Highbury Stadium on Saturday 2 May, providing the perfect opportunity to begin his work in the role in front of the club’s supporters and the wider Fleetwood community.

As the Trust’s first Community Hub Ambassador, Ronan will help raise awareness of the importance of community food support and encourage others to get involved in initiatives that help local people.

His appointment also reflects the important role that footballers can play as positive role models within their communities. Through his willingness to give his time, speak openly about causes that matter to local people and actively get involved, Ronan has demonstrated the values that sit at the heart of Fleetwood Town Community Trust and was recently named the Club’s PFA Community Champion for the 2025/26 season, recognising his outstanding contribution to the local community.

The Community Hub Ambassador role will build on this work and provide an opportunity for Ronan to continue using his profile to encourage community action, raise awareness of food insecurity and highlight the support available to local residents.
