Fleetwood Town FC’s Female Football Strategy 2023

Fleetwood Town FC and all supporting partners are pleased to share the Female Football Strategy, outlining the routes in increasing levels of participation in recreational and competitive football for women and girls.
The strategy will see girls engage in football activity from as young as three years old, providing a range of initiatives to help develop the player technically, tactically, socially and emotionally, often being delivered in the club’s state of the art training facility, Poolfoot Farm Sports & Leisure Complex. In addition to developing the player and person we will encourage females into other roles within the game, increasing the volume of qualified female officials and coaches throughout the club’s network.
Steve Curwood, Fleetwood Town Football Club, CEO explains, “Football has the power to positively influence lives. No matter the ability, gender or where you live, football is the vehicle to unite communities to change perceptions for the better.
