Amplifying a commitment to the communities we mutually serve this relationship is testament to a thriving Fylde Coast business wishing to create valid Social Value via true Corporate Social Responsibility.
Dalvee Restaurant is where guests are welcomed with a smile and they return as family. Dalvee is a place where they believe अतिथि देवो भव which means Guest is God. Dalvee restaurant is proud of their strapline, where they ensure the guests are well looked after as soon as they walk in and are treated like God.
Seema Dalvi, Dalvee Restaurant’s award-winning chef states; ‘I have always been passionate about tasty homemade Indian meals. I was born in Mumbai, India and grew up with parents and grandparents who always loved cooking. I was never far away from traditional culinary skills and was brought up to enjoy the freshest of ingredients, the most wonderful meats and vegetables, and the very best herbs and spices. I learnt my cooking skills at home and good quality modern, contemporary food became my passion’.
Seema’s vocation and passion is to showcase the true, traditional taste of Indian cuisine. ‘Many high street takeaways and restaurants cater for mainstream English tastes and the modern, contemporary taste of Indian food has been lost in the fast-food arena we see in our towns’.
Not content with producing high quality meals for Dalvee’s customers Seema also offers cookery classes. ‘By the end of the lesson, you have not only cooked a delicious meal but also forged new friendships and created lasting memories. You leave with a sense of achievement, a deeper understanding and appreciation for Indian cuisine, and a strong desire to return for more’.
This thoughtful approach to Indian Cuisine coheres with and amplifies The Trusts ethos of Creating Stronger Healthier More Connected Communities. And fits well within programmes and activities delivering a value-added ingredient (excuse the pun) to what we mutually believe will become a successful partnership.
