Dan Orton, “I joined Find Your Future to improve my employability skills. The COVID 19 restrictions made me realize how much I need a routine and the programme has given me the skills and motivation to search tirelessly for job.
“I’ve enjoyed learning about mental wellbeing, it’s given me the chance to reflect on my own and put things in place to support and help me progress.”
“Now that I’ve been successful at my interview and start my job in a few weeks time, I’m looking forward to a fresh start and being able to receive a regular income.””
Project lead, John Hartley, added, “We have seen a huge improvement in Dan since we began working with him last month. He has conducted himself in an excellent manner and it’s clear to see the change in his mentality and motivation towards employment. It has been difficult having the required contact time with each of our participants on Find Your Future due to the lockdown restrictions and this has meant that each person has had to take responsibility for their own learning and development with our mentoring always available. We look forward to hearing about Dan’s progress in employment in the coming months.”
