We will be celebrating our first Community Day, showcasing a range of Community Trust provisions in conjunction with our partners, stakeholders and community groups that support the Trust’s mission of creating stronger, healthier, more active communities.

The event will take place on Saturday 24th August, starting from 12.30pm in and around Highbury Stadium and Memorial Park, Fleetwood. We are encouraging all in attendance to join the Cod Army faithful as they take on Gillingham in the much anticipated EFL League 2 clash.

There will be a number of activities and challenges suitable for all of the family, these include:

  • Inflatable Football Dart Board
  • 3 V 3 Football
  • Face Painting
  • Speed Goal Challenge
  • Soft tip Darts
  • Football Freestyle
  • Multi Skills Challenge
  • Meet Captain Cod
and much more!

Community Trust, CEO, John Hartley added, “I am delighted that we are able to get our scheduled Community Day arranged, a day that promises to be action packed promoting local services and activities.

I am proud to share that Fleetwood Town Community Trust generated over £14.5m million in social value cost saving conducted in a recent report, therefore meaning that for every £1 received we generate over £14 in community engagement.

I encourage all supporters, families and community members to donate where possible, all funds received are invested back into our 40 projects across Fleetwood and the surrounding areas.”
