Ash Hunter, Lewis Baines, and Ged Garner were present at Garstang Community Primary School on Monday afternoon and took part in a variety of different sporting activities with KS1 pupils.

With schools now back in full flow, it was time the Cod Army ventured out into the Garstang School, and with the head teacher Steph Reeves – a long-serving Fleetwood Town fan – it was a great day for the children in the Multi-Skills after school club.

The players were first introduced to the group, before quickly getting into some physical activities with the children. Up first was a game of ‘Gate Keeper’, and it was up to the children to stop the three players from going through their gates.

The KS1 group took part in more activities with one being ‘Giant Treasures’, a game where the children had to sneak up to the cones without being caught. A lot of smiles and laughs were heard from the playground at the school.
