Fleetwood Town Community Trust are thrilled to announce they have been named finalists in the Not-for-profit Business category at this year’s Red Rose Awards.
Now in their 10th year, the Red Rose Awards celebrate business excellence in Lancashire, and provide the best possible platforms to share successes, and encourage trade in the county.
The Trust have been named finalists after demonstrating that their not-for-profit business works like a business should, and showcasing how their work in Lancashire’s communities makes a real difference to people’s lives.
Matt Hilton, Chief Executive of the Community Trust, said:
“We are over the moon to have made it through the finalist stage of these prestigious awards, as it’s true recognition of our hard work and commitment to helping individuals within our local communities.
“It’s been an incredible year for the Trust as we’ve enjoyed unprecedented growth in a number of areas, reached a record number of individuals, secured new contracts and expanded our workforce.
“The next 12 months will be a really exciting time for us as we look to invest a significant amount in a brand new Community Hub which will provide health and education programmes to all sectors of the community, and we’ll also be introducing new programmes to engage hard to reach groups.”
The Trust have now been invited to present their case before an expert panel of judges which will be tasked with picking one winner from the six contenders in each of 25 categories.
Winners will be announced at an awards ceremony on Thursday 12 March 2020 at the Winter Gardens, Blackpool.
