Students from Fleetwood Town’s Community Sports College students have settled in well whilst on their educational programme in Spain and are well underway with their training.

The students – who start their academic year soon after the trip – first made their way to the hotel before heading out to the local beach and promenade for a relaxing walk. They then settled in for the night as they had a full day of training and teaching the next day.

On Tuesday, everyone started their day off by making their way onto the pitches for a morning session, as they look to sharpen their skills before returning to the Fylde Coast.

Then, in the afternoon, the BTEC students are having daily lessons in the classroom and are focusing on learning the native language from Spanish teachers and will also build up their sporting knowledge.

The rest of the trip, which was organised though EU Erasmus Plus, is jam-packed with activities. The students are set to play three games whilst there against local football teams and will be going to watch Elche face Tenerife at the Estadio Martinez Valero on Thursday 19th September.
