Striker David Ball has won the Fleetwood Town Community Trust’s player of the year award in conjunction with the PFA.
The striker who is in his fifth season with the club has been named Community Player of the year after his outstanding work in the local community throughout the 2016/17 campaign.
His work in the community was recently recognised by the Football League, who awarded him the unsung hero award for the month of April.
Director of Community Matt Hilton said: “Bally’s work has been outstanding once again this year. He has always gone above and beyond and has been involved in numerous different activities throughout the course of the season.
“He has been the face of the Trust this year and never once declined to help us out. He has always been very proactive with us and happy to assist.”
