Here’s all you need to know about our Early Years programme

The Early Years programme (EYFS) consists of three key main areas in physical activity, with them being football, multi-skills and yoga.

The idea of our Early Years sessions is to help those children in nurseries and pre-schools with their mobility as well as their co-ordination.

With football, this session will help to improve a child’s foot and eye co-ordination skills, whilst helping to develop their control, balance and power. This also helps children with their communication skills as they will be working together to complete fun tasks with their pre-school colleagues.

Yoga will help a child’s flexibility levels, as well as improving their strength and balance whilst performing different poses. With yoga, this will also create imagination when following a story and performing different poses. During multi-skills children travel around in various ways and use their hands during games, this helps with their hand and eye co-ordination.

As well as children benefiting from the programme physically, these half hour sessions help to develop a child’s confidence, social, listening, concentrating and imagination skills.

Sessions cost £15 for a 30 minute sessions, so if you think it will help your children’s development, why not get in touch and speak to a member of staff.
