Fleetwood Town Community Trust appoints Tom Hutton as Chief Executive Officer

Fleetwood Town Community Trust are delighted to announce the appointment of Tom Hutton as Chief Executive Officer.

Tom brings more than 15 years of senior leadership experience in the football club charity sector. He previously served as Director of AFC Fylde Community Foundation and most recently held the position of CEO at Foundation 92, the official charity of Salford City FC.

His appointment marks an exciting new chapter for the Trust as it continues to expand its impact across Fleetwood and Wyre.

In his new role, Tom will be responsible for leading the strategic direction of the Trust, strengthening partnerships, and enhancing the delivery of programmes that support health, education, inclusion and wellbeing.

Speaking about his appointment, Tom Hutton said: “I am delighted to be joining Fleetwood Town Community Trust and to build on the success of the previous leadership team. I look forward to working with colleagues and partners to enable the Trust to have an even greater impact across both Fleetwood and Wyre. The Trust’s reputation locally is second to none, and I look forward to further establishing the Trust as Wyre’s most prominent and impactful charity.”

His previous track record within our sector means that he will be able to hit the ground running. It’s an exciting time for the Trust with new ventures on the horizon and I can’t wait for his impact.”
