Over the opening 12 months we are delighted to share that we have reached 468 young people aged 8-18 years old through our six day a week offering. The Youth Hub has enabled the young people of Fleetwood to access a fun, safe and inclusive space in the heart of the town, somewhere they are proud to call their own.
Through to support of the Youth Investment Fund (YIF) and Fleetwood Trust we were able to deliver 1,222 hours of free engaging activity where young people have developed crucial life skills, contributing positively to their community. Furthermore, we have worked collaboratively with Lancashire Mind, CAMHS, Fleetwood Police in a cohesive effort to reduce anti social behaviour and to reduce waiting times from critical professional mental health services.
A key objective established from the offset was to ensure that no child left the Youth Hub hungry, and as such we have provided 5,457 meals in that period. Our services couldn’t be delivered without the wonderful input of our exceptional team of volunteers, completing a total of 852 hours.
Community Trust CEO, John Hartley added, “We are incredibly proud to witness the incredible impact the Youth Hub has had on the young people of Fleetwood. Our team of dedicated Youth Workers work tirelessly in providing exceptional levels of care and engagement and this will continue to be the case as we head into the second year of delivery.”
Sophie, an ever present participant at the Youth Hub attended the House of Commons in April 2025 to share her experience with MP’s, members of the EFL and other football club personnel covering the national footprint
