Fleetwood Town Community Trust is delighted to announce the winners of this year’s Christmas Card Competition, following an incredible response from primary schools across Wyre.
This year’s theme, “Community at Christmas,” inspired a fantastic display of imagination and festive spirit. We were overwhelmed by the number of entries received, with pupils from several schools submitting thoughtful, colourful and creative designs that truly captured the heart of the community during the festive season.
After receiving such a large volume of entries, our team carefully shortlisted the designs down to a Top 10, selecting those that best represented the theme, artistry and originality.
These 10 finalists then went forward to our special judging panel — and what a panel it was!
We were honoured to welcome Fleetwood Town First Team Manager Pete Wild and First Team Captain Elliot Bonds as our guest judges. They spent time reviewing each shortlisted design, discussing the creativity behind them, and ultimately selecting this year’s 1st, 2nd and 3rd place winners.
A huge well done and thank you to every single pupil who entered — the standard was exceptional, and the judges found it incredibly difficult to choose between so many brilliant designs.
And a massive congratulations to our top three winners:
🥇 1st Place – Sophie – Age 10 – St Anne’s Copp Great Eccleston
Their design will now be professionally printed as the official Fleetwood Town Community Trust Christmas Card, helping spread joy through our Fleetwood Together campaign.
🥈 2nd Place – Isla – Age 10 – Thornton Primary
🥉 3rd Place – Oliver – Age 8 – Northfold Primary
This competition forms a special part of our Fleetwood Together initiative, with the winning card being included in festive deliveries to individuals and families who may need a little extra support this Christmas.
Every pupil who entered has helped make a positive difference, and we are incredibly proud of the creativity shown across our local schools.
We would like to extend a heartfelt thank you to all participating schools, teachers and families for supporting this year’s competition. The enthusiasm and effort from pupils has been outstanding.
Well done to everyone who took part — and congratulations once again to our 1st, 2nd and 3rd place winners!
Your artwork has helped make this Christmas extra special for our community.
