Volunteering

Fleetwood Town Community Trust will facilitate volunteering opportunities for those aged 14-24 alongside lead and assistant coaches in multiple settings across the community. These sessions may include Premier League Primary Stars, Premier League Kicks, Disability provision, Walking Football and much more, working with a range of people, from all ages and backgrounds.

The Trust will enrol volunteers onto our reward scheme, where gifts are awarded after specific milestones on the journey to 100 hours are reached. Once this is achieved, you will get the opportunity to sign up for a National Governing Body sporting qualification, i.e. FA Level 1.

Corey enrolled as our first volunteer on the VInspired programme in April 2018 and quickly completed his 100 voluntary hours through community outreach work. “Volunteering for Fleetwood Town Community Trust has been an amazing experience, one that I wouldn’t have got through any other organisation,” Corey explained.

“Since reaching 100 hours, I have now completed the next FA Level 1 coaching course, which has then led to me being offered casual coaching work where I get the opportunity to assist lead coaches in sports, such as dodgeball and football in the community.”
