On 21st of February Victrex PLC held a ten-pin bowling fundraiser for Fleetwood Town Community Trust veteran’s garden.

Our project Coordinator Tony Codling gave a talk on the amazing work that is done by our community veterans, making a derelict piece of land a sanctuary using sustainable materials. The Community Garden is used as a place of tranquillity and has great benefits for those veteran’s suffering with mental health issues.

Victrex staff raised £700 that is being donated to make the garden accessible to veterans with a disability. Also, some of the Victrex staff will be using some of their volunteer hours to assist with work within the garden.
