Summer Adventures in Fleetwood: A Summer Camp Making a Difference

This summer the Trust has collaborated with Pride in Fleetwood to develop a summer camp for children and young people.

 

The aim of the club is to give positive experiences to children and young people in the heart of Fleetwood, whilst also supporting local businesses and attractions and showcasing what we have to offer in the town.

 

The club runs from 11-3 daily and offers a wide range of activities, so far the children have enjoyed:

And we have many more adventures planned for the last week of the holidays including being team of the week at Fleetwood V Gillingham on Saturday 22^nd August 2026.

 

All of the activities are child centred and are planned with the children in advance with picnic lunches provided by Home Bakery.

This holiday club has given the opportunity to children in Fleetwood to have fun and positive experiences, make new friends and really get to know their local community in a safe and structured way and the feedback received from children and parents has been overwhelmingly positive:

This club is the first of its kind to be run by Fleetwood Town Community Trust, delivering high quality, safe activities for children in the local community and the children, young people and staff alike have all had an amazing time!
