National FA Girls Football Week – Nov 6th – Nov 12th

This was a fantastic week for FTFC CT, which culminated in a Primary School Girls tournament for KS2 that saw 11 schools take part, with Shakespeare School from Fleetwood beating Stanah Primary in the Final.

We delivered Girls only sessions in Cardinal Allen, Montgomery and Millfield High School, which we have been doing for the entirety of this academic year. We also ran sessions for over 18’s with our Female Walking Football on a Tuesday evening and also our lunchtime Girls sessions at Baines Endowed. Overall, we engaged with 200+ girls throughout this week and raised awareness of just how popular Girls football is becoming.
