Goalie Wars returns this February half term

After a well attended Goalie Wars in December, we are excited to announce that it will be back this February at Poolfoot Farm.

Fleetwood Town held a successful Goalie Wars event over the Christmas period at Poolfoot Farm, and it saw over 60 young goalkeepers aging from 6-15-years-old take part in an action packed day. The next sessions will take place on Tuesday 18 February 2020.

With the competition fierce and fast paced, it saw a fantastic level of talent from the first whistle to the last, which ultimately saw five winners announced at the end of the day.

Winners last time were:

U7s/U8s – Harris Hyde

U9s/U10s – Harry Wilkinson

U11s/U12s – Alfie Heartley

U13s/U14s – Iwan Bishop

U15s/U16s – Josh Poole

Jamie Hargreaves, Poolfoot Farm Event Coordinator said: “This was the third event we have hosted of its kind. Every time we host it gets bigger, and the level of competition gets better with people coming from all over.

“These events highlight how much players and parents enjoy the event. The facility at Poolfoot are first class, and this means that all the family can enjoy the day out. We are already looking ahead to the next event in February, which will be bigger and better than ever”

Start time – 10am

Price – £10 per goalkeeper

The winners will receives a trophy and a FREE pair of KA goalkeeper gloves, so make sure you get your name in as soon as possible to avoid being disappointed.
