Fleetwood Town Community Trust continue to support Over 50’s Walking Footballers

The Trust are pleased to extend their partnership with Fleetwood Town Flyers FC by now supporting the Club to deliver three football sessions per week at Poolfoot Farm. The sessions aim to improve the physical and mental wellbeing of it’s members, with further opportunities also being available to play in regional leagues and national tournaments. 

All sessions take place at Poolfoot Farm, Thornton Cleveleys, FY5 4HX

• Tuesday 8-9pm

• Wednesday 11.00-12.30pm

• Friday 5-6pm

Kevin Clarkson, Chairman of Fleetwood Town Flyers FC, said “We are delighted to be extending our partnership agreement with the Fleetwood Town Community Trust. Our members and players will now have access to their experienced coaches at all of our weekly football sessions. We have enjoyed an excellent relationship with the Trust over a number of years and we look forward to this continuing for many more years to come.”

John Hartley, Community Cohesion & Inclusion Manager, added, “We are really pleased to extend the partnership with Fleetwood Town Flyers FC. On a weekly basis we see the impact that the weekly exercise has on each of it’s members, not only through improved physical health but through meeting like-minded people.”
