Cottam and Rydel enjoyed talent show at Shakespeare Primary School

Fleetwood Town duo James Cottam and Ryan Rydel went to Shakespeare Primary School as special guest judges in their annual talent show ‘Shakey’s Got Talent’.

Both James and Ryan arrived at the primary school and were thrown into the action straight away as the first of the eight acts sung and danced their hearts out in front of the packed assembly hall.

The players laughed and enjoyed all of the acts in the talent show but had to pick winners in the end, alongside former headteacher Mrs Margaret Lund and volunteer Mrs Mary Williams.

They awarded first place to Lily Stephenson, second place to Amelia Thomas and, for the first time ever, a joint third place prize to both Keira Dcruze and Dan Smart.

After giving out the prizes to the winners, they were treated to a special performance from the teachers and then another showing of the winner act.

The club would like to thank Shakespeare Primary School for inviting the players to be special judges, and we look forward to seeing the pupils at our game against Peterborough United at Highbury on Saturday 15 February.
