Fleetwood Town have donated a signed shirt and a hospitality package to Richard Neale, who is running the London Marathon in April.

Cod Army supporter Richard is running the world famous marathon in aid of the Sue Ryder Care and in memory of his good friend James Heseldin, who spent time with Sue Ryder Care before passing away.

For over 65 years, the Sue Ryder doctors, nurses, and carers have given people the compassion and expert care they need to help them live the best life they possibly can. They take the time to understand what’s important to people and give them choice and control over their care.

Richard’s aim is to raise £2,000, and so far he is already half way to his target, with supporters able to donate via his Just Giving page. The club hopes that the signed shirt and hospitality package will help him reach his goal.

Richard said after receiving the donation: “I am so overwhelmed at the signed shirt and hospitality package that Fleetwood Town have given me to raffle off.

“The shirt and hospitality package will allow me to raise more money for my great charity – I can’t thank the club enough!”

Everyone at the club would like to wish Richard all the best in the marathon!
