Fleetwood Town Community Trust is proud to launch Feeding Fleetwood, a special matchday campaign taking place at the upcoming Fleetwood Town vs Bromley fixture on Saturday 7th February 2026.
We’re calling on the incredible Cod Army to help support local families by bringing non-perishable food items or making a cash donation on matchday. Every contribution—big or small—will help make a real difference in our community.
All proceeds raised will be split equally between West View Community Association and The Pantry Food Bank, Fleetwood, two vital local organisations working tirelessly to support those who need it most.
The Pantry, Fleetwood’s Foodbank, is based in the old hospital, North Albert Street, with the initiative originally launched 16 years ago and now feeding upto 800 people per month, over one hundred of whom are children.
We have always been generously supported by private donations, public grants, tin collections from schools and surplus food from supermarkets, but, as our numbers of clients increase and the cost of living goes up, we wonder how long we will be able to continue.
Westview Community Association Food Club is for members only that are based in the Fleetwood community, paying £4 a week for one bag per household. They will receive a food parcel that contains a mixture of chilled, ambient, frozen and fresh vegetables every week, each week is different and is always worth roughly between £15-£25.
The Food Club also helps to reduce food waste and help keep cost down within the household. We also do emergency food parcels for across Wyre when they are required.
The campaign has been led by Fleetwood Town FC striker, Ronan Coughlan who recognises the vital importance of these organisations and in supporting local families.
Donation points will be available around the stadium on the day, making it easy to give while you back the team. Together, let’s show the power of football to bring people together and support our town—on and off the pitch.
Thank you for your continued generosity and support.
